- 52 postsMemberPLEASE bring this to the PC again!
I'm done with console gaming - have been for a couple years.
I am excited to get to play Madden again this year on PC - I'm an annual FIFA buyer/player, as well as many other sports titles.
For NHL though - I'm simply not buying it ever again if not on PC (at least I can't see it). I have no desire to have an underpowered, single use (in my case), console just for NHL.
I continue, to this day, to just play PS3 NHL Legacy and honestly will indefinitely if NHL never comes to PC gaming again.
Please bring it back! My money awaits you! - 65 postsMemberAugust 9, 2018 1:21PMedited August 2018Serious question- Who's listening and how do we get in touch with them? I've never had anything from EA other than cold indifference

I don't know - Were we watching the same clip?
He seemed pretty 'who knows!? anything is possible if people want it!' about it to me.
I'd love to be totally wrong, but I feel like he was just trying to give an answer that kept optimism alive for the guy asking the question, who made it clear he loves PC gaming. - 721 postsMemberI'm pretty sure the PC version is coming later this year after I saw the actual dev and his answer in the vid.

It just felt very different to me from the answers I saw on the same questions every year.
I might be wrong of course, I don't have any insides or anything like that Would be nice. - 352 postsMember2

There's a huge player base on Xbox One, so you don't have to worry about that. Cross-platform would be nice, but not necessary. In fact, online leagues like LG would probably NOT want to have PC cross-platform so they can add another League (PC) to go along with the existing XB1 and PS4 leauges.1 - 296 postsMemberI'm pretty sure the PC version is coming later this year, after I saw the actual dev and his answer in the vid.

Yeah exactly. I just got the stock placating response that we see from most devs, movie producers and directors, ect. Like 'Hey, we're always listening and having internal discussions about this. Anything's possible' type stuff.I'm pretty sure the PC version is coming later this year
There's 0% chance that happens. - 65 postsMemberWhat is EA doing to gauge the interest of the massive player base they've been shafting for a decade?
They send out surveys asking people what improvements they want to see in their games, except there's one vital flaw- You had to have purchased the game in order to get a single-use URL to take the survey. - 500 postsMemberThe question is how 'massive' is the player base? The only reason I own a PS4 is for NHL. Otherwise like the people in this thread, I would play on PC. My question is, how many people are like me and will buy the PC version and forget about the Xbox/PS4 versions of the game? There is no profit to be made there. I've tried going into forums and I have answered the surveys stating I would like this, but I don't see enough people out there talking about it. A couple hundred people is not enough. Please bring this 'massive player base' you speak of and I'm all for it.
Anyways, after watching the video, it seemed more of a political answer. It sounded like he didn't want to disappoint the PC community, so by stating it's a possibility, it still leaves hope. I hope EA surprises, but I don't see this coming anytime soon. (Maybe the release of Madden will change this) - 52 postsMemberI wish they'd come up with some way to really gauge this.
I'm in the camp that just gave up on NHL since it's not on the PC.
The only reason I was going to have a PS4 was for NHL and I just said 'screw it' and since 2015 I still just play NHL Legacy on the PS3 I already had (and have other games I enjoy on).
I'm just never going to be an NHL customer again if they don't bring it back to PC.
There may be lots of us - or not - I just wish they were officially trying to figure that out - 354 postsMemberAugust 25, 2018 6:59PMedited August 2018P.C. was sooo nice. It will be even better being I am away alot in summer (Cottage and trips) and always bring my laptop and always have that ONLINE hockey itch.
I would have been happy if they even ported LEGACY to P.C. find out the sales numbers and go from there.but I know thats not what we deserve.we deserve a updated game same as consoles. - 65 postsMemberThe question is how 'massive' is the player base? ..

How massive is the player base?
There are more active Steam profiles than Xbox Live, for a start.
There are enough players to warrant EA porting Madden and FIFA.
PC software outsold consoles by a billion dollars two years ago (if my memory serves).
PC is the most ubiquitous platform on the planet, and has been around longer than both Playstation and Xbox.
You seem to ask the first question I asked, which was 'What is EA doing to gauge the interest of the massive player base they've been shafting for a decade', then invent a solution out of nowhere.
'Couple hundred people'? Surely on those petitions you've seen thousands of signatures. The reason you 'don't see enough people out there talking about it' is because EA never answers anyone or addresses the topic. Wouldn't you feel like you've been ignored after 10 years of cold indifference and silence from a multi-billion dollar corporation? People are tired of asking and getting no response. - 931 postsMemberAugust 30, 2018 8:00PMedited August 2018The question is how 'massive' is the player base? The only reason I own a PS4 is for NHL. If the game was brought to PC it would mean more sales for sure. I know many of people who would ditch the console versions if the PC version was decent.
I'd ditch the XB1 version for PC in a heartbeat. PC tend to have better quality connection speeds and your hardware can also keep things running nicely.0 - 536 postsMemberThe question is how 'massive' is the player base? It's also a lot easier to cheat and screw with connections on PC - 500 postsMemberThe question is how 'massive' is the player base? ..

You quoted my request, but then no where answered my question. I am on your side, but I have never seen the data that you speak of. Stating facts (if they truly are that) that have nothing to do with the NHL series doesn't justify anything.
You do realize they just brought Madden back to PC right? Because a lot more fans petitioned to get it there than the fans of the NHL series. EA does listen, but I don't think the data you speak of is out there. Please show me so I can be on your side. - 500 postsMemberThe question is how 'massive' is the player base? You do realize you are arguing against your favor correct? You just reiterated what I said and then said it would make more sales. This does not mean more sales, it means you transitioned your sale to another platform.
Also, there are so many things wrong with your last PC comment, that I don't even want to debate it.
